General rental Conditions

The present general conditions of sale govern the contractual relations between Dotcom Rent Car and its customers for the rental of vehicles. By making a reservation with Dotcom Rent Because, you agree to the following conditions :

1. Booking :

   • Any vehicle reservation is subject to availability and must be made in advance via our website or by phone.
   • Dotcom Rent Car reserves the right to refuse a booking if the required conditions are not met.

2. Payment :

   • The full or partial payment of the rental is required at the time of the reservation, unless otherwise stated.
   • The accepted payment methods are specified during the booking.

3. Duration of Rental :

   • The rental period begins at the date and time agreed when the reservation and ends on the date and at the time of return specified.
   • Any violation of the rental period agreed upon may result in additional charges.

4. Use of Vehicle :

   • The rented vehicle may only be used by the client named in the rental agreement and may not be lent or sub-leased to a third party.
   • The customer is responsible for the use of the vehicle in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.

5. Insurance :

   • The vehicle is covered by a basic health insurance included in the rental price.
   • The customer can subscribe to supplementary insurance for extended coverage, according to its needs.

6. Vehicle return :

   • The vehicle must be returned in the same condition in which it was rented, except normal wear and tear.
   • The return of the vehicle shall be made at the time agreed upon at time of booking. Any delay may result in additional charges.

7. Cancellation and Amendment :

   • Cancellations for reservations must be made in accordance with our cancellation policy and may be subject to a fee.
   • Changes to booking may be subject to a change fee according to the nature of the change.

8. Customer's responsibility :

   • The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle during the rental period, except in case of fault of Dotcom Rent Car.

By signing the rental agreement, the customer acknowledges to have read, understood and accepted the present general terms and conditions of rental. Dotcom Rent Car reserves the right to modify these terms at any time and without notice.
